My baby isn't a baby anymore

It is hard to believe Abby is two already, but we have made so many fun memories with her.  We have all enjoyed watching her grow and she has definitely kept us entertained with all of her funny words and looks.  We celebrated her by having a family dinner with her grandparents and enjoying some German Chocolate cake and watching her open her presents.  She loved her butterfly pillow pet.  She calls it her pet and insists on sleeping on it each night.  A few of Abby's favorites:   Food: Berries and Cheese, Book: Big Hungry Bear, Things:  Shoes, Water cups with straws, Backpacks, Show: Sesame Street...Elmo and Abby Fairy, Cutest Words:  Mingers for Fingers, Button for Belly Button, Luggle means Snuggle, and Burps are toots in your mouth :)  Love my girl!  She has been such a blessing in our lives.  I am so happy she got to come be part of our family.

My girl is 9

I know that time seems to go by fast, but as each one of my children's birthdays approach, I find myself reflecting on the memories I have with that child and all the great things they bring to our family.  It is then that I realize how much time I have had with them.  They have made so many memories with me and I have gotten to have so much fun with them. Time is what it is and as some moments seem to pass slowly, others seems to speed by. It is what we do with that time that matters.  I for one am grateful for all the time I have had with my sweet Sydnee.  She is such a spunky, beautiful bright light in our home. She has always been so cuddly and loving, sensitive and smart.  We had a family birthday dinner for her on Friday with hamburgers and cheesecake, yum! She had a party with some friends at the ice skating rink on Saturday.  Lots of fun!  I love you Syd. You make us so happy.  Happy, Happy birthday to you!
