Snuggling with dad on Father's Day

Dog pile on dad...Syd was sick in bed :(
We were invited by some of our friends to go to a cabin for the weekend in Mossyrock, Wa.  It was a beautiful place and we had a great time relaxing and celebrating Father's Day. We went to a small ward on Sunday and one of the mom's (not me) braided all 9 of our little girls hair.  Not Abby though...Not enough hair yet :(  The kids and all the mom's made up a fun song that the kids sang to their dads.  So happy it is summer!

Another Year Down!

Abby got to come to class a lot :)

Getting ready for her performance
The end of the school year is soooo busy!  It seems like everything is going on at once and it is crazy keeping up. The kids have last minute projects, plays to practice, music performances, tons of field trips, etc.  All of it is fun, but it makes you very ready for summer break. I was able to get some fun pictures of a Greek play that Sydnee was part of in her 3rd Grade class.  She had a wonderful teacher, Lisa Morgan, who was also Adyson's teacher.  We love her!  Lots of fun and creative things going on at all times in her classroom.

Rick Summited Mt. Rainier

Rick reached a very big goal of his and was able to climb Mt. Rainier.  A good friend of ours, Mark Mckell flew into town from Logan, Ut. He also had a friend of his and his brother in law fly in from Kansas and Texas to climb with them.  I was so excited for him, but it was so hard to send him off.  He had no cell reception once he started climbing and I didn't hear from him for 1 1/2 days.  I kept checking the weather (obsessively)  and said lots of prayers.  By Saturday evening, I was a bit tense. Luckily, we had a family dinner to distract me :)  They came home successful, a bit sunburnt, wiped out and hungry.  I was so happy to have them home safe!
