We had a lot of fun at the Dyer Reunion in Sunriver, Or.  We spent our time riding bikes, swimming, playing games, rafting,  and eating!  It is always so great to get together and make fun memories.  The kids love getting quality time with their cousins and we love relaxing and getting away as a family.

Crater Lake Camping Trip

We went on a camping trip to Crater Lake, Oregon a few days before the Dyer Reunion.  We went with The Lachers, and Marzee braved it alone with her three kids.  It was so incredibly beautiful!  The lake didn't look real and the drive in is so scenic and pretty.  We did not have the best weather, but we still managed to go on some short hikes and we even played on a snowbank for awhile.  The campground was really nice too.  We are definitely going back again and going down on the lake for the boat ride next time.

We had such a fun 4th Of July Holiday!  We were a little sad that we were missing our boy. He had Scout Camp all week :( We started by spending the evening of the 3rd at the Prices block party.  They have a huge potluck and then a big fireworks show.  They also have lots of music and dance instruction, snow cones, and such a fun crowd.  The kids love going. It has become a fun family tradition. The next day we went on a hike on the Eagle Creek Trail and went down to the punchbowl falls to jump in the freezing cold water. Jon, Marzee, all their kiddos, and Scott and Clarissa joined us.  It was a beautiful day for a hike.  We always get together with the Dyers and the Mays to swim in the Mays pool and have a BBQ.  The kids are always so excited to swim!  In the evening we gathered at the Foltz's property next door and had snacks and watched another big fireworks show.  I found out this year that Abigail doesn't really like fireworks yet...we had to spend a little time indoors during the show.  I am sure she will come around :)
